Mary Anne is the founder of Show-Me Food & Nutrition Services, Inc. She has had a professional career in the field of dietetics and nutrition since she became a Registered Dietitian nearly 40 years ago. Her experience has focused in the areas of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Dietetics Education, Food Service Management and Geriatric Nutrition( the field in which she has served as a Licensed Consultant Registered Dietitian).

A graduate of the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics, she obtained her PhD from the University of Kansas in Nutrition Education. For 22 years she served as the Director of the Dietetics Program at the University of Central Missouri. More recently she developed and directed the previous Certified Dietary Manager’s course offered at the Herndon Career Center. In Raytown, Missouri.

As a Registered Licensed Dietitian in both Missouri and Kansas, Mary Anne is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Missouri Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has been an active member on local, state and nation levels and is a proud recipient of the Kansas City Dietetic Association and Missouri Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Registered Dietitian of the year. Mary Anne sold the company to Brenda Yanney in May 2016.
